Adrian Pino, Vice-President
Adrian Pino was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He has been married for 34 years to Sandra Pino.  They have one son,  Adrian Pino Jr., and a daughter-in-law, Priscilla.  Mr. Pino owns Adrian’s Print Shop in Belen.  He has been in business for 24 years.  He graduated from Manzano High School in 1975.  He has been on the Belen School Board for ten (10) years.  Mr. Pino is very proud of his accomplishments while on the school board.  Some of those accomplishments include construction projects such as the Belen High School Career Academy, the Belen Consolidated Schools Administration Building, Central Elementary, Dennis Chavez Elementary gymnasium, etc.  Mr. Pino has been very active in the community since moving to Valencia County in 1985. He has served on the Board for Victims of Domestic Violence, the Optimist Club, the Boys and Girls Club, the Hispano Chamber and various other clubs and organizations.  He also helped coach junior wrestling and Little League baseball. 

Larry Lindberg, Member
Larry Lindberg was born in Kansas City, MO.  He has lived in Belen for six years.  Mr. Lindberg has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Kansas and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Illinois.  He is retired from the U.S. Marshall Service and from the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr. Lindberg is married to Dorothy and has three children and four grandchildren. 

Dolores Lola Quintana, Secretary

Lola Quintana is a lifelong resident of Belen, NM.  She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Belen High School.  Ms. Quintana graduated from New Mexico Highland’s University with a teaching degree.  She taught biology, zoology, botany, science, physical education classes and was also a basketball and softball coach.  Ms. Quintana retired from Belen Consolidated Schools where she was employed as a teacher, coach and transportation coordinator.  She has been a Belen School Board member for two terms.

Lorraine Espinosa, Member
Lorraine was born and raised in Bosque, NM.  Her parents are Nep and Bessie Chavez.  She has seven siblings.  Mrs. Espinosa is the widow of Patrick Espinosa.  They were married for 23 years before he passed away in 2005.  They have three daughters and five grandchildren.  Mrs. Espinosa graduated from Belen High School.  She is certified in Early Childhood Education and was employed by Belen Consolidated Schools as an educational assistant for thirteen years.  Mrs. Espinosa is currently employed by NM Children, Youth and Families Department.  Mrs. Espinosa enjoys working with children, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys being an activist for family, education and the civil rights of people.

R. Sam Chavez, President
R. Sam Chavez is a lifelong resident of Jarales, NM. In fact, he was born at the old Belen hospital 56 years ago which is the current location of the Belen School Administration site. Mr. Chavez graduated from Belen High School in 1973 and from New Mexico State University in 1977 with a BS degree in Agricultural and Vocational Education (AXED). He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he attained the rank of Captain. Sam has been married to Anna (Tabet) Chavez for 30 years. They have two children who both graduated from Belen High School.  They also have 3 grandchildren; one who is currently attending Belen Schools. Mr. Chavez is currently employed by the Internal Revenue Service where he has worked as a Revenue Officer for 28 years. He has been on the Belen Consolidated School Board for 8 years and was recently elected to his third term. He lists his biggest accomplishments as a board member as advocating for alternative and vocational education for the development of the Career Academy and Infinity High School; "Not every student will go on to college, but everyone deserves a chance...These programs give everyone the opportunity to succeed."

Belen Consolidated Schools will educate all students in acquiring knowledge, skills, and attitudes so they will graduate and become healthy, productive, lifelong learners who have a positive effect on their community, country and world.
